Dean Moone, 40, born in Pinner, studied Craft Design and Technology, Technical Drawing and Art, but felt that he needed the economic security a trade could offer and successfully completed a City & Guilds qualification in bricklaying at Willesden Technical College. Dean continued producing artwork whilst holding down his everyday job, however two years ago he suffered a back injury in an industrial accident that has left him unable to continue with heavy, physical work. Through the generous support of family and friends, Dean has used the time since his accident to broaden and deepen his use of materials, methods and media. Dean paints using oil on canvas.
