After obtaining my Masters in Art History from the Courtauld Institute of Art, studying Renaissance art and architecture, I decided to start painting full-time in my London SW18 home studio. My abstract paintings incorporate papers, items, and objects from everyday life with beautiful bought papers and acrylic paint with the intentions of capturing the essence of colour and human emotions. To increase the durability and lifespan of my paintings, I use multiple layers of polyacrylic or polyurethane on top of the collaged surfaces, which seal and add a shiny top layer to the paintings.
I have been commissioned to paint abstract murals, gardens 'en-plein-air' and pet portraits. I made my debut in London last year at the New Artist Fair going on to exhibit at DegreeArt Gallery and Parallax Art Fair whilst also having shown internationally in Virginia, Texas, and New York, USA. My works are also in private and corporate collections throughout the United States, Europe and the United Kingdom.
