My first childhood memory of art was when I was about 3 years old. My mother dropped me off at nursery, the first thing I saw was an easel with poster paints. I walked over, picked up a paintbrush, and since then have barely put it down. Although I studied art at school and college I am mostly self-taught so what I paint, comes from my heart and is completely original. Bold flowers, sunsets and seascapes are my passion, especially when created in an abstract form. Growing up in London, I was always surrounded by a buzz that just seemed to inspire me. I wanted to be creative and express myself through light, colour and movement. After working in the world of fashion for a while I decided to listen to my heart and follow my dream of becoming an artist.
